Do something good when you get a haircut this summer - get your locks looked after at The City Salon and Spa! The beauty salon, located on Woodrow Drive, is currently holding a donation drive for the tornado victims of Moore, OK, the town that was devastated by a 210 mph, EF5 cyclone on May 20.
The salon will be accepting monetary donations for victims, and in addition, 50% of their proceeds will go to the town every Tuesday and Wednesday through the month of June.
The employees of the salon were moved to aid Moore residents because of the loss they suffered last year, when the salon was damaged by a fire in Nixon's Deli next door.
"We feel for their loss and want to do anything we can to help," said Amy Alexander, a stylist at The City Salon and Spa, adding, "We encourage other businesses in the community," to do the same.
