Utility Worker Killed On the Job

Marion Bruce Lee, a 29-year-old utility worker for H&R Cable was killed on the job. On Monday evening, Lee was hanging cable from a bucket truck when a pickup truck clipped the cable, causing the cable to strike and kill him.

According to WBIR, the accident occurred on Central Avenue at Beaver Creek Lane.

Unfortunately, fatalities at the workplace are not uncommon. In 2010, over 4,500 workers were killed in the United States.
