Another Building Struck By Car in One Week
Posted on behalf of Greg Coleman Law on Jun 17, 2013 in Auto Accident
On Saturday morning a 1996 Dodge Caravan was traveling on Western Avenue when it jumped the curb and drove into a building. The woman driving the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene as she was not wearing a seatbelt.
Reports indicate that alcohol may have been a contributing factor to the crash as blood samples have been taken after the woman was pulled from the vehicle. Of course, this was not the only time a driver ran into a building this week.
On Monday June 10, an SUV slammed into a building where people were inside. Fortunately, no one was killed resulting from this accident, however there were minor injuries sustained. The driver of the SUV was cited for driving too fast and failure to provide proof of insurance.
At Greg Coleman Law, our Knoxville car accident attorneys send out our sympathy to the woman killed on Saturday, and hope for a speedy recovery to those injured in last Mondays accident. In addition, our attorneys are proud to provide their legal advice to all those injured in auto accidents throughout the state of Tennessee and beyond.
